Jenellen is a luxury level Italian leather and made handbag line that has been developed to give living artists another avenue of income: fashion. 

 

Having started life as an artist, Jenellen’s founder (Jane Altman) is very much aware how difficult it is for artists to survive in the good times, let alone this current environment.  The idea is simple, diversify income to sustain growth. 

 

Six years ago Altman began researching art replication in 3 dimension.  Four years later the Carlton Award winning inventor Gene Baratto of Textures LLC was located and contacted.  For two more years, Textures (Gene and his son Michael) redeveloped and redeveloped their process so that it could be placed on leather, while remaining supple enough to be a handbag component. 

 

Jenellen’s print technology will not chip, crack, nor peel.  It is also UV protected.

 

Together (Jane and Textures) formed Jenellen line of handbags featuring art of internationally established artists.  These are artists who already have seriously committed their lives to the art world.  Some are able to market themselves better than others, but regardless, they are what Jenellen believes to be the best in their class.

 

Jenellen’s complimentary leathers are hand selected during the Lineapelle Fiere. The hardware is custom designed and hand crafted in Italy.  Jenellen bags are made in Italy.  These items are made for people who appreciate fine handbags.
